Whilst he was writing about blogs, Gregory Ciotti wrote that, “Writing is organised thinking.” I’m not sure that is necessarily always so. After all, if someone is unable to read and or write, it does not mean they cannot think logically or in an “organised way” does it? Their organised thinking is not expressed by writing but is still organised. Some writing I have read is hardly organised or well thought out. You can have organised thinking without writing it down and you can write down disorganised thinking too.
In any event, I plan to write as clearly as possible for any reader. So here we go.
Jesus Christ said, “I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Matt 16:18. I am at once encouraged by this statement and challenged. He will build His church and the power and authority of hell shall not overcome His work. Yet we see churches close (as well as open) and we see some churches that in operation are far from being recognisable as of His building.
I was thinking, “How can we understand this?”
Have a think. I’ll add to this next time DV.
